Monthly Clubs

The Applique Society

Two chapters of the Applique Society meet at

Quilter’s Dream monthly on the first Tuesday.  The

Applique Consortium meets at 10 a.m. and the

Nightingale Appliquers meet at 6:30 p.m.  Both

groups enjoy programs and workdays and welcome

new members.  Annual dues paid to chapter.

 

Stitchin’ Friends

Suzie Henke and Kay Graan       $35 annually

For those that especially enjoy cute, quick projects

and handwork, come enjoy time with friends and make

new friends while Kay and Suzie present new projects

and provide inspiration through show and tell.  Members

receive a 10% discount on all merchandise.  There will

be a make and take project every other month with kits

available.

Its OK Sampler are eligible to join Quiltsitters.  We

enjoy fellowship, inspiration, trades, mysteries

and a 10% discount on all merchandise.  We

build on Mary Ellen Hopkins' techniques and

attitude of quilting that are taught in the Its Ok

classes.

Spring Fling 2008 – Fun & Games

Save the date for this year’s Spring Fling on

April 17, 18, & 19 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

There will be games, a new quilt, prizes and

lots of fun.  12 shops participating.  Begin

your trip by getting your passport at any of the

participating shops.  Get a piece of the puzzle and

a step of this year’s quilt pattern at each shop.

Make it to all 12 shops and you will be eligible for

one of 12 grand prize baskets.  You can also

play games at each of the shops to win prizes

just for coming in and playing.

Maps are available now or leave the driving

to us and take our bus.  We will visit 6 shops

on Friday and 6 on Saturday.  Your $55 per day

fee includes lunch and snacks & drinks on the bus.

Come by and see what’s in our prize basket –

and it’s still growing!

 

Special Classes

If you don’t see the class you wanted or

you need a different time than what is being

offered, please let us know.  We can schedule

classes for 3 or more students at special request.

 

First Saturday $5 Sampler

We will be starting our 4th year of the First

Saturday Sampler on April 4 & 5. Pay $5 to

 start and receive a pattern and fabric kit for

the first block.  Bring your completed block

each month on the first Saturday morning

from 9-12 a.m. or the day before on Friday

and receive the next kit and pattern free.

There will be 12 blocks and we are offering

two color choices:  Fall or Spring.
